August 13, 2026 – Food lovers can experience Santa Monica's diverse cuisines at more than 40 local restaurants that will offer prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus during Dine LA Restaurant Week from August 14 to 28.
The twice a year event -- which takes place in the summer and winter -- "shines a spotlight on the remarkable diversity of Santa Monica’s dining landscape," tourism officials said Wednesday in announcing Santa Monica's line up of restaurants.
Offerings during Dine LA Restaurant Week, which "showcases professionals whose creativity and passion continue to elevate the city’s unique food culture," include everything from pork rib tips at Bludso's BBQ to Michelin Star dining at Mélisse.
Attendees can expect a lineup of 45 restaurants participating in Santa Monica, making the beachside city one of Restaurant Week’s top hotspots, Santa Monica Travel & Tourism officials said.
“From casual bites to fine dining, Dine LA Restaurant Week is a fantastic celebration of Santa Monica’s chefs and dedicated professionals who make our destination so dynamic, with an array of restaurants offering something for every palate and occasion,” said SMTT's President/CEO Misti Kerns.
“By choosing to dine locally, residents and visitors are not only enjoying a memorable meal, they are lifting up the hospitality community that gives our city its heart.”
Restaurant Week "showcases Los Angeles as a premier dining destination while highlighting the diversity of culinary experiences L.A. has to offer," event organizers said.
The event was introduced in January 2008 to promote the LA area as a prime dining destination. Some 150 restaurants participated in the inaugural event.
