May 4, 2021 -- Pacific Park is looking for more than 200 "fun, outgoing, energetic team members" to work this spring and summer at the amusement park on the Santa Monica Pier.

Applicants can attend the next Job Fair Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Seaside Pavilion, located at the west side of Pacific Park next to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

The jobs being filled are in areas that include Scoops Ice Cream Shop and Beach Burger, as well as rides, games, retail and security, park officials said.

Potential employees can submit their applications in person -- where they can meet face-to-face with supervisors -- or online by visiting http://www.pacpark.com/jobfair

"Many applicants will be hired on site and provided with dates to begin orientation and training," park officials said.

Job perks include free and discounted meals and free rides for employees and their family, flexible schedules and paid training to gain real-life job skills.

“As we move closer to the spring and summer seasons, it’s critical that we hire enough new employees to make sure that we’re able to provide great customer service and go above and beyond our guests’ expectations,” says Nathan Smithson, Pacific Park's director of Marketing and Business Development.

“Pacific Park is one of Santa Monica’s largest youth employers and provides employees with a variety of opportunities including gaining valuable skills and training on the job all while working at the beach and oceanfront.”

Pacific Park is an equal opportunity employer.

LA’s only admission free amusement park, the two-acre Pacific Park offers 12 amusement rides, 17 midway games, an oceanfront food plaza and retail shops, according to Park officials.

In addition to the Pacific Wheel, the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel, Pacific Park’s signature rides include The West Coaster, a steel roller coaster that races 55 feet above the Santa Monica Bay; and Inkie’s Air Lift Balloon Ride, the “high-flying, family-sharing kids’ ride,” officials said.
