Local named Humanitarian of the Year | ||
By Lookout Staff May 5, 2010--Santa Monica resident Eric Faber has been named the 2010 Humanitarian of the Year by the Small Business Council of America (SBCA). He will be honored tomorrow in Washington D.C. at the 27th Congressional Annual Awards Reception Faber, a marketing and business solutions consultant, is the co-founder and president of the Westside Co. He is also a board member for the Red Cross of Santa Monica and the Pier Restoration Corporation. In addition, Faber is involved in many other causes, including support for local schools. |
The SBCA is recognizing Faber for his "outstanding humanitarian endeavors and achievements as representative of our nation's small business and for his decades of compassion and tireless efforts in assisting others to make a better world." |
