Police Search for Suspect in “Juvenile Annoyance” Incident

September 9 -- Police are searching for a 20-year-old man wanted for "juvenile annoyance," after he approached a 12-year-old girl on the street Thursday morning and hugged her.

The incident took place at around 7:45 a.m. on the 1500 block of Ocean Park Boulevard, said Lt. Frank Fabrega, the police department spokesman.

"The victim got away from the suspect and ran to school and reported the incident to a school official," Fabrega said. "The suspect fled on foot westbound on Ocean Park Boulevard."

The suspect is described as a White man, 5'10" to 6'00" tall, with a thin build, light complexion, dirty blond hair in a short cut style and possibly sporting a goatee, police said.

The suspect was wearing a white short sleeve t-shirt with a cross bone and skull on the front, and blue jeans, Fabrega said. He did not appear to be homeless.
