Man Shot, in Stable Condition

June 7 – A man was shot Saturday night near the corner of 14th Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, police said.

The victim was walking northbound on the east side of 14th Street shortly after 7 p.m. when felt a sharp pain in his right rib cage area and realized that he had possibly been shot, police said.

He was taken to a local hospital by a family member and is listed in stable condition, police said.

The victim told officers that he did not see or hear anything and could not offer any further details on the incident.
