Leads to School Lockdown
By Lookout Staff
Nov. 1 -- A fight between two men across the street from John
Muir Elementary led to a lockdown at the school Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 1 p.m. on the 2500 block
of 5th Street. They found blood on the ground, but no suspect or victim.
"The two friends had an argument," said Lt. Frank Fabrega,
the department spokesman. "One stabbed the other."
The victim was taken to Daniel Freeman Hospital.
When informed of the reported incident, Principal Patty Flynn asked police
to lock down the school, Fabrega said.
"We informed the principal of what was occurring, and it was her decision
to lock down the school," Fabrega said. |
