Crime Report

Between April 18 and April 20 the Santa Monica Police Department received 964 calls for service. They include reports of four grand thefts, three overdoses and two armed robberies. This is a partial list.

Calls made on April 20, 2005:

1. 6:27 a.m. Traffic stop, 1100 block of the beach, arrest and report

2. 9:59 a.m. Grand theft report, 500 block of Pier Ave., report

3. 1:58 p.m. Domestic violence report, Edison Elementary @ 2400 Kansas Ave., report

4. 4:18 p.m. Petty theft – suspect in custody, Sears @ 300 Colorado Ave., arrest and report

5. 4:35 p.m. Grand theft just occurred, Rite Aid @ 1300 Wilshire Blvd., gone on arrival

6. 5:17 p.m. Grand theft report, 1200 block of 6th St., report

7. 10:15 p.m. Domestic violence in progress, House of Billiards @ 1900 Wilshire Blvd., field interview completed

Calls made on April 19, 2005:

1. 12:28 a.m. Narcotics activity/Health and safety code violation, Jack in the Box @ 800 Santa Monica Blvd., arrest and report

2. 1:17 a.m. Shots fired, 1300 block of Palisades Park, gone on arrival

3. 10:13 a.m. Battery just occurred, 500 block of Ashland Ave., advised

4. 1:49 p.m. Overdose, Lincoln Blvd./Wilshire Blvd., unfounded

5. 3:03 p.m. Death investigation/dead body, Santa Monica Motel @ 2100 Lincoln Blvd., report

6. 3:58 p.m. Warrant pick up, 500 block of N. Victoria Blvd., arrest and report

7. 9:13 p.m. Overdose, 1500 block of Yale St., report

1. 12:13 a.m. Armed robbery just occurred, 300 block of Santa Monica Pier

2. 3:26 a.m. Battery just occurred, Euclid St./Pico Blvd., field interview completed

3. 9:23 a.m. Grand theft report, 600 block of Idaho Ave., report

4. 9:41 a.m. Elder abuse, 2200 block of 23rd St.

5. 9:55 a.m. Illegal weapon, Santa Monica High @ 600 Pico Blvd., arrest and report

6. 12:21 p.m. Armed robbery just occurred, Radison Huntley @ 1100 2nd St., report

7. 12:49 p.m. Harassing/threatening phone calls report, 1400 block of 4th St., report

8. 1:01 p.m. Domestic violence report, 900 block of Pier, report

9. 1:16 p.m. Overdose, 2000 block of Pearl St., report
