Crime Report

Between March 24 and March 27 the Santa Monica Police Department received 1,351 calls for service. They include reports of four assaults with deadly weapons, four burglaries to motor vehicles and three batteries. This is a partial list.

Calls made on March 27, 2005:

1. 12:54 a.m. Fire, 500 block of Arizona Ave., general dispositions

2. 2:52 a.m. Battery just occurred, 2000 block of Wilshire Blvd., arrest and report

3. 8:00 a.m. Prowler there now, 2300 block of Oak St., arrest and report

4. 12:38 p.m. Critical missing person, 1400 block of 17th St., report

5. 7:46 p.m. Assault with a deadly weapon just occurred, 22300 PCH, advised

6. 11:11 p.m. Domestic violence, Pier deck parking @ 200 Santa Monica Pier, arrest and report

2. 5:31 a.m. Defrauding in progress, Denny’s Restaurant @ 1500 Lincoln Blvd., advised

3. 1:56 p.m. Injured person, 1300 block of the beach, report

4. 2:01 p.m. Found senile, 400 block of California Ave. field interview completed

5. 4:05 p.m. Suicide now, 1600 block of Centinela Ave.

6. 4:30 p.m. Battery just occurred, 1500 block of 11th St., report

7. 4:31 p.m. Grand theft report, 2000 block of 20th St., report

8. 6:01 p.m. Burglary to motor vehicle report, Structure 7 @ 1500 4th St., telephonic report
