Crime Report

Between March 17 and March 20 the Santa Monica Police Department received 1,385 calls for service. They include reports of five armed robberies, two sexual assaults and two burglary to motor vehicle reports. This is a partial list.

Calls made on March 20, 2005:

1. 2:14 a.m. Armed robbery just occurred, 1000 block of Montana Ave., report

2. 7:19 a.m. Domestic violence in progress, Starbucks @ 2500 Wilshire Blvd., arrest and report

3. 9:28 a.m. Burglary report, Fred Segal @ 500 Broadway, report

4. 12:00 p.m. Auto theft just occurred, Santa Monica Motel @ 2100 Lincoln Blvd., report

5. 2:11 p.m. Attempted burglary report, 100 block of Wadsworth Ave., gone on arrival

6. 4:17 p.m. Sexual assault reported at Public Safety Facility @ 300 Olympic Dr., field interview completed

7. 6:35 p.m. Shots fired, 2100 block of Yorkshire Ave., checks ok

8. 9:23 p.m. Threats report, Starbucks @ 1200 3rd Street Promenade, arrest and report

2. 2:49 a.m. Armed robbery just occurred, California Ave., report

3. 9:09 a.m. Armed robbery just occurred, Starbucks @ 1200 3rd St. Promenade, report

4. 9:33 a.m. Attempted armed robbery just occurred, Rite Aid @ 2400 Pico Blvd., report

5. 11:36 a.m. Child endangerment, Wilshire Blvd., gone on arrival

6. 3:23 p.m. Armed robbery just occurred, Olympic Blvd., report

7. 5:50 p.m. Battery just occurred, 1900 block of Wilshire Blvd., report
