Crime Report

Between March 3 and March 6 the Santa Monica Police Department received 1,346 calls for service. They include reports of three burglaries to motor vehicles, two felony child beatings, one suicide and murder. This is a partial list.

1. 1:18 a.m. Shots fired, 2400 block of Ashland Ave., gone on arrival

2. 4:04 p.m. Threats report, 2600 block of 24th St., report

3. 9:06 p.m. Violation of restraining order, reported at Public Safety Facility @ 300 Olympic Dr., report

4. 11.40 p.m. Domestic violence just occurred, 1500 block of 17th St., report

5. 11:56 p.m. Drunk driver, 1500 block of Pacific Coast Hwy., advised

4. 7:03 p.m. Assault with a deadly weapon just occurred, 2700 block of Barnard Way, arrest and report

5. 8:27 p.m. Felony child beating, 1100 block of 6th St., report

6. 11:02 p.m. Murder, 1600 Ocean Park Blvd., arrest and report
