Crime Report

Between February 10 and February 13 the Santa Monica Police Department received 1,322 calls for service. They include reports of two rapes, three shots fired, four robberies and five deaths. This is a partial list.

Calls made on February 13, 2005:

1. 1:22 a.m. Strong arm robbery just occurred, 300 block of Marine St., general dispositions

2. 1:54 a.m. Overdose, 1000 block of Ocean Park Blvd., field interview completed

3. 2:08 a.m. Shots fired, 2500 block of Kansas Ave., checks ok

4. 3:59 a.m. Transport to Public safety facility @ 300 Olympic Dr., arrest and report

5. 8:41 a.m. Assault with a deadly weapon just occurred, 1400 block of Lincoln Blvd., arrest and report

6. 2:15 p.m. Threats report, 1400 block of Berkeley St., report

7. 2:28 p.m. Drunk driver, Cloverfield Blvd./Santa Monica Blvd., arrest and report

8. 9:10 p.m. Armed robbery just occurred, Marguerita Ave., arrest and report

9. 10: 29 p.m. Psycho/72 hour hold, 300 block of Palisades Ave., arrest and report

10. 11:18 p.m. Death investigation/dead body, 600 block of Kensington Rd., report

11. 3:22 p.m. Elder abuse reported at Public safety facility @ 300 Olympic Dr.

12. 5:40 p.m. Shots fired, 1000 9th St., checks ok

13. 7:54 p.m. Death investigation/dead body, 2600 block of 32nd St., report

14. 8:36 p.m. Person down, 1400 block of 3rd Street Promenade, arrest and report

15. 8:37 p.m. Death investigation/dead body, 800 block of Ocean Ave., report
