Approximately 25,000 people, including 612 Santa Monica residents, completed the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday in the first edition of the race to finish in Santa Monica. Dubbed "Stadium to the Sea," the new route took runners from Dodger Stadium to Ocean Avenue via Hollywood, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
