| City to Repave Streets with Fed Funds | ||

By Lookout Staff March 1, 2010 -- More than six miles of streets across Santa Monica will be repaved using funds from the federal government’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. City officials believe the $787 billion Recovery package -- which was
passed by Congress to help jump-start the economy will create or save
some 20 jobs. Streets scheduled for improvements include the following:
