Body Found on Beach

March 26 -- The body of a woman was found Thursday afternoon on the shores of the beach on the city’s north side.

The body – described as that of a Black adult – was located at 1:11 p.m. at the water line on the 900 block of the beach by police responding to the scene, police said.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause of death. The deceased has not been identified.
