Condescending Words and Disturbing Opinions
October 6, 2003
I wonder if Mr. Sanschagrin gets dizzy looking down his nose at the rest of us? ("Who is We and Get a Grip, Kip," Oct. 5, 2003)
Isn't that what got Governor Davis in trouble in the first place? Every condescending word that Marc writes reeks of the rarefied air that he and other so called progressives breathe up there on Mt. Olympus and the resultant hypoxia-induced blather we must suffer.
On a recent trip to Shanghai, China I was shocked when a cab driver held his hand in the shape of a mock pistol and blasted away when I mentioned Mao in passing. If a humble cab driver gets it about what a horror communism WAS(?) why can't an "educated" man like Mr. Sanschagrin? I worry about what he's teaching our kids!

I have been following the discussion of Tuesday's election on your pages now for two weeks, and find it really disturbing. There is no place for stupidity in this community. We are a caring and intelligent community of folks.
Schwarzenegger (hard to say this name), which means a black Niger in German, is a disaster on many levels. He is an immoral person, his treatment of women is appalling and his sympathetic statements about Hitler are revolting, no matter when he said them, and inexcusable.
The state of California is owed $9 billion dollars by the Enron Corporation for taking our state and raping it. If Enron pays every penny they owe us, we will be out of the red. Schwarzenegger will sell us down the river for Enron. He is untrustworthy and a pompous idiot to boot.
The Green voices are doing the same thing they did in the 2000 election, period, and now we have another idiot who is selling our environment to the highest bidders and bringing us to a continuous war, and selling that country to the highest bidders too. All of them are waiting for the black oil to flow, so their pockets will be lined with greens.
